The Truth about BEING Healthy in Mind, Body, Soul with Spirit

Today, I wanted to discuss being healthy in mind, body, and soul with the right spirit. When I first watched the documentary “HEAL” a few years ago – it woke me up to how I saw my health. Here’s the trailer and maybe you’ll see why?  HEAL. I’d been following many of the spiritual teachers featured in the film: Marianne Williamson, Bernie Siegel, Deepak Chopra, Bruce Lipton & Michael Bernard Beckwith so their health wisdom felt like common sense. Having the science intelligence that comes with being raised in a medical family had me appreciate one side of health: data from objective evidence. But there’s another side of being healthy in mind, body, soul with spirity: our experiences. It comes from what’s inside when we allow our natural immunity to work and our body to heal itself. Our health includes a spiritual foundation, which is determined by our mind (free will) and what we choose to believe on both sides! How Stress Affects Your Being Healthy in Mind, Body and Soul I don’t suffer from stress because of the practical information I had, but also because I learned the spiritual tools on how to trust, surrender and let go. We need both science and spirituality for optimum health. I used to think stress was normal.  I’d even hear stress is good and necessary for you. Kind of like guilt is good for you. It’s a lie. Of course we feel disappointed and sad at times. Angry and upset for sure. But stressed or guilt-ridden? These are spiritual problems. I believe a lot of us have accepted stress is part of life. We get what we expect and create what we tolerate. You stop experiencing stress or worry after you’ve been willing to face and heal your wounds while applying spiritual practices into your life. That’s what directly affects your emotional, mental and physical health. Stress has the greatest impact on your physical health. It’s “un-peaceful” in our internal network that throws all our energies out of balance. We create stress in the ways we see, hear and react, so we can also uncreate it. Learning how to come back to centre amidst any chaos is a game changer. It’s hard to get a spiritual practice going when you’re suffering from headaches, lack of sleep, constant distraction and flying by the seat of your pants! It’s why so many are reliant and believe in external “bandaids or pills” that are not sustainable for being healthy in mind, body, soul with spirit in the long run. There’s quiet spaces you have to be willing to carve out because that’s where your creativity lives. The “easy fast button”, which dominates how we approach physical health is short-term gain for long-term pain. Our emotional, and mental health too. Think of how we reach for alcohol, eating or shopping when we’re feeling emotionally down or working long hours wanting to take the edge off. If alcohol, eating or shopping are your “pick me ups” – they are bringing you down in the long run. Maybe you’re telling yourself “I deserve a treat”, but be mindful here. It can be a well-deserved gift for self-care, but if a choice takes you away from your higher health, you’ve moving away from your centre. Every choice emotionally either raises you up or brings you down and accumulates over time.  Your life experience will tell you which way you’re going. Entertainment and even fitness can be an unhealthy mental distraction if it means you’re running from deeper pain or exhausted from your existing turmoil. Discovering Your Seeds I watched the Heal trailer recently and didn’t realize Anthony William – the Medical Medium – was in that documentary! His work was a seed I’m ready to water this year. Seeing so many suffering from illnesses, disease, and now a rampant fear around a virus that’s managed to turn our world upside down feels like a clarion call towards our whole health. Your spiritual health is the undercurrent that flows into the other 3 areas of health: mental, emotional and physical. I was here at one time stuck in the Mutiny of my Soul and I pushed through to the other side. When I discovered Anthony William has been receiving guidance from a celestial teacher for healthy living, it hit a chord. It’s where I’ve been receiving my best guidance over the last decade: spirituality. Our external systems are changing rapidly right now.  Health care, education, financial systems and the way businesses operate are shifting dramatically while our lives are inundated by digital technology and unethical surveillance. It’s the real reason I want to dive into Medical Medium this year – to keep up with the radical changes and remain healthy in mind, body and soul. I want to apply the latest health revelations decades ahead of its time to prevent and understand how to heal so many of the chronic illness and disease we face, and the constantly changing viruses increasingly upon us. I want to go on a health journey with this book to get bigger questions answered, and have new natural food solutions we can try at home to become part of a healthier lifestyle. I have a few spiritually awakened souls joining our gathering who I know will bring incredible insights. I want to know the best supplements and how I can radically change its effectiveness by visualization. Medical Medium is the first book in a series, and contains his story and soul practices. These are the crucial bits! Anthony William talks about the “Unforgiving 4” that have gotten into all our systems: Viral Explosion DDT Radiation Toxic Heavy Metals We know unhealthy toxins get into our systems daily, but how these affect your body may not be known until its too late. These days we are not even legally allowed to know what’s being injected in our bodies. My Soul Book Club Starts Sunday January 30th, 2022!!!! I’m ready to take this soul health journey for my …

Reclaim Your Health – Mind, Body & Soul with Spirit for 2022!

Reclaim Your Health – Mind, Body & Soul with Spirit for 2022! I was set to launch “Conversations with God” this year for my 2022 book club, but Spirit guided me to this book instead: Medical Medium is well known in the spiritual community and was just updated in 2021 to include Covid and other latest discoveries to combat illness and disease. The idea of taking back control over our health feels vital right now… We are facing a health crisis on many levels. This incredible resource is both spiritual and a way to take back ownership over your overall health in a massive way for your lifetime. Our emotional, mental and physical health have been stretched to the limits over the last 2 years, and your spiritual health has never been more important. This life saving material coming from Spirit has been embraced by millions that’s helping them a better mind, body and soul. “Anthony William’s invaluable advice on preventing and combating disease is years ahead of what’s available anywhere else.” ~Richard Sollazzo, MD, NY board-certified oncologist, hematologist, nutritionist and anti-aging expert, author of Balance Your Health “Anthony doesn’t offer gimmicks or fads to finding ultimate health. His recommended foods and cleansing programs are simple and delicious and THEY WORK! If you’re done living with pain, fatigue, brain fog, intestinal disorders, and a myriad of other nasty ailments, drop everything and read this (and his other ) books. He will quickly bring health and hope back into your life.” ~Hilary Swank, Oscar winning actress My Health Journey Several years ago I started looking at my health in a more integrated way with “Younger Next Year: Live Strong, Fit and Sexy Until Your 80 and Beyond” that came out in 2004. It got me focused on key fundamentals for my overall health – “Harry’s Rules”: • Exercise six days a week for the rest of your life. • Do serious aerobic exercise four days a week for the rest of your life. • Do serious strength training, with weights, two days a week for the rest of your life. • Spend less than you make. • Quit eating crap! • Care. • Connect and Commit. It felt easier to commit to doing a 7 minute workout consistently ever since. The style of conversation between Dr. Lodge and his “star” lawyer patient in his 70’s planted a seed of exercise into my values. But this seed comes from somewhere else to keep you on track. In 2017, the author Dr. Harry Lodge, MD died of prostate cancer at 58. He didn’t make it even to 60 while positively impacting millions hoping to be thriving in they 80’s and beyond. It was the reminder that knowledge requires the part I was missing long ago: spiritual practice. I was surprised, but not shocked. I had suspicions and did a little digging. His marriage ended, which usually creates enormous mental and emotional stress on your system if you haven’t done your ‘inner work’. MDs are notorious for not being the best patients with a tendency to ignore their own health. Knowledge can work against you because your ego can give you a false sense of reality that only spiritual wisdom can override. Your mind can think it knows better, but there’s a disconnection from a deeper truth that our life is fleeting and a gift that requires we slow down, and give reverence to what we’ve been given. It’s a deeper value that gets you to an Dr. appointment on top of a very busy schedule. Prioritizing yourself is a shift that changes what feels inconvenient into living your values. In general MDs don’t make time for self-development, and spirituality is often not on the radar for science minds. Prostate cancer can be detected and treated early so to lose your life at 58 from this disease is especially tragic for someone who had all the resources and knowledge to the best health care. I am not 100% certain, but I suspect his death was preventable. We need that gentle, but powerful push from Spirit to be proactive with our health. To focus more inward than outward. A Bit About My Health My soul theme for 2022 is ownership, so I’m owning up here: I am 53, 5″4′ and weigh 123 lbs. My goal is 120lbs. I was hovering around 128 lbs, but there are ways I will share that get you to where you want to be with seemingly little effort. I take no prescribed medication. I have no allergies. I cannot remember the last time I felt sick with anything. Apparently this is no longer “the norm” for someone my age. I don’t take flu vaccines – I trust my own natural immunity. I rarely eat fast food and extremely little processed food. I’m mostly vegetarian, and can’t imagine going vegan, but the healthy wonders of a plant based diet are calling me! I use toxin-free cleaning products as much as I can. I carefully choose beauty products looking at the ingredients. This may change your view of shampoo forever, and will make perfect sense … my hair feels healthier these days..just saying! I use vinegar instead of chemicals of a rinsing agent in my dishwasher that works perfectly, and far less $. The soap I still use! My sleep is whatever my body needs anywhere from 5 – 7 hours. I don’t wake up to an alarm, and I’m awake most days before 5 am. Today it was 4:44 – one of my guides awakening me : ) What I Need to Improve I’ve been doing a 7 minute workout 2-3x per week and attending a live pilates class every Friday for last 17 years. Small, but consistent does wonders! However, my cardio needs a lift big time. I didn’t grow up with sports so been challenging adding this in consistently. I’ve been concerned the past few years that my husband wasn’t finding time for any exercise and it was showing. As …

Picking a Soul Theme to Create Your Greatest Year

At the end of every year I choose a soul theme with a few close soul friends & we review our existing theme to see how it showed up. There’s something mysterious that happens when you put an intention out in the form of one powerful word for something you want to step into. Reading Wayne Dyer’s “The Power of Intention” years ago gave me the understanding of holding what you want in your mind this way. “If you aren’t doing what you love and loving what you do, your power of intention is weakened. You attract into your life more of the dissatisfaction that isn’t the face of love. Consequently, more of what you don’t love will appear in your life.” ~Wayne Dyer Hmm…I just realized this vase has been on my shelf for years…a gift from my hubby who supports me wholeheartedly in doing what I love! Today I understand the power of intention on a soul level. When you direct your thoughts in the form of a clear intention, you are putting “light into your field” that allows you to receive divine guidance from within, and with your guides. You can create your reality with a thought or take it up a notch to co-create miracles when you realize you’re here to grow your soul. Just a reminder that we are living in a Universe filled with Spirit personalities and you are a significant part of the collective consciousness evolving on our planet in this material plane at this time in history! It’s why when you can feel into gratitude (or fill your field with a higher vibration), then set an intention – more light comes your way in divine timing or those magical moments. If you feel stuck, stressed or down in the dumps – it’s difficult for your guidance team to assist your intention. How can your guidance team reach you from their higher light field of love if you are operating in the fear of darkness? Think of it the same way you ‘meet people where they are’ to best communicate from where you are. If you are worried, it means you’re living in fear not faith so releasing your doubts is a necessary first step to allowing your soul theme to lead you. It can be difficult when things are not working on the outside because we’re not conscious of how our reactions our old patterns of behaviour affects our energy field. We listen to the media and can take in fears. We can let other people’s needs, demands and desires dominate our own inner voice. We can find ourselves people pleasing or trying to meet expectations. We can let thoughts of criticism and judgment block our creativity. We can justify all kinds of rationale to explain why we are feeling trapped or overwhelmed that keep us stuck. When you take a deep breath with intention –  use that pause to bring your personal divine part of God into your life to see through your higher self. This is your primary relationship above all else where we learn to love ourself. What Loving Yourself Means in Practice We know that taking care of ourselves emotionally, mentally and physically are ways to practice acts of self-love. But what does loving ourselves spiritually mean? How can you love you when you’re the same person? Unless there are 2 of you … and there IS! The greatest, highest, most divine love you can imagine that’s unconditional, non-judgmental and a love beyond our human comprehension – that love is living inside of you. God IS love. It’s the light source of the entire universe. At the soul level, discovering God is really part of each and everyone creates a profound practice of self-love. Someone whose birthday is about to be celebrated this Saturday around the world came along to tell us this same revelation: “The kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21). I didn’t find spirituality and God in the bible. There are so many spiritual writings that have led the way, but the fourth section of the Urantia book describing Jesus’s whole life helped me understand what the bible was trying to say similar to Marianne Williamson’s “A Return to Love” based on the Course in Miracles. Reading the Impersonal Life (1916) had me experience how God lives in you because it was a dialogue between the author and God talking to him: “You cannot awaken to this fact until you can get away from the consciousness of this body and intellect, which so long have held you enslaved. You must feel Me within, before you can know I AM there…Be still! – and KNOW – I AM – God” ~Joseph Brenner, the Impersonal Life Wayne Dyer discovered this book just before he passed away in 2015 and shared his experience with the CEO of Hay House here. It was like he was describing my experience! A Philosophy I Practice SO first thing – you have a light in your soul. Connect with the light first, and everything else will follow. It can start with choosing a soul theme to help bring light to your field in the coming year. What you’re really doing is asking your divine fragment to help you grow into more of who you want to BE in order to have the experiences you long for. It’s important to notice, a soul theme is not a goal you can check off a list. A soul theme is not an action item. It’s a calling of your soul to step up. My 2021 soul theme was bravery. It found my way to the song “Brave” by Sara B. that sounds like God’s talking to me while I’m doing this sun salution in the early morning. How a Soul Theme Works “Real movements seem to start unintentionally … it’s more true that movements create us”. ~Charles Eisenstein When you do something that resonates with your soul, some will notice and follow your …

How Truth Gets Hidden and Stays Under the Radar

Let’s talk about how truth gets hidden and remains hidden. As I ventured inward spiritually, I began to see so much outward that left me with a persistent question: “How come people don’t know about THIS?” It felt mind boggling how much truth gets hidden and stays under the radar. It takes letting go of a lot of the mainstream “groupthink” mentality to reveal vital information that few seem to ever lay their eyes on. What Arthur Schopenhauer said about truth seems to be in full swing these days. All truth passes through three stages: First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.  In Other Words.. First our fear creates judgment believing we’re right and we condemn the wrong ones. Second, we divide and conquer through a “for and against” stance with each side justifying their view preventing meaningful discourse needed for wise decision-making. Third, a small minority of highly qualified individuals breaks through the confusion to stir up enough collective experience to reign in the light of higher truth away from the fear of judgment. Then, we wonder why it took so long. The space between people focused on who’s right and who’s wrong becomes a dysfunctional pattern: attack – defend – feel offended – silence – separation. The way to truth is answer for yourself: What is right for me because it feels aligned with my own experience? Finding our spiritual voice is key to overcoming judgment and discovering what is true, beautiful and good we’ve always carried “within” in order to see “without”… A Little Reminder of WHO YOU ARE within.. Each of us arrived as a spiritual being “imperfect by design” carrying a Spark of the invisible Creator. There’s profound wisdom in YOU. Your inner “divine fragment” waits to indwell your mind’s consciousness when you reach the cognitive maturity to make a moral decision around age 6. It’s like we’ve been given the gift of a guiding light to direct our free will towards ethical thoughts by consciously tapping into our own creative Source through our life choices. Taking away a fundamental life choice around your own body in order to function day to day is breaking a universal law of free will.  Morality and ethical behaviour is not a science, its a genuine feeling calling you in a direction that allows you to progress spiritually. I notice the scientists focused on ethics eg. freedom, transparency, kindness, respect, honesty (who write in ethical journals or are on ethics committees) are sharing what feels closest to truth. Our Life Came with Natural Immunity We don’t seem to understand who we are spiritually, nor that physically we have a built in immune system to keep us in balance when all sorts of dangers we face affect us mentally, emotionally and physically. Why do you suppose that the very youngest and most vulnerable are able to keep from succumbing to this disease while the elderly do not? The greatest difference is a healthy inborn immune system that hasn’t been hit with toxins that have accumulated in their little bodies. How many toxins do you suppose enter and affect our body from every direction: our air, food, and through the skin from “beauty” products?  Not to mention the effects of stress, lack of exercise and trauma we carry as adults? Our Inner and Outer Environment There’s a knowing that our outer world reflects our inner world. I believe this applies to our health. Your body does what its meant to be able to do if you take care of your insides. I comes down to understanding our microbiome & how it impacts the health of our innate immune system described well by Dr. Zach Bush here. I’ve been surrounded by educated people all my life, but I’ve learned that accumulating knowledge without a spiritual lens can be deceiving because it makes you believe there is only one right way, one right answer, one solution for everyone. The words “follow the science” and “safe and effective” can become all encompassing justification while so much remains unknown. We can easily forget about the miracle of where we came from, and how intricately balanced our natural world has always been. In our busy day to day, we don’t take into account the evolution of our species, the lessons in our history or that we were designed to evolve with an immune system that we have the responsibility to take care of. There’s science and spirituality that work together to form a deeper reality of truth. Your truth can only be relative to what your inner knowing is seeking and has the capacity to see. Truth comes from both your inner knowing and your living proof. There’s what you can ascertain, and what you must have faith in because so much you simply cannot see. It’s WHY seeing is believing and believing is seeing. The more we discover, the more we realize how much we don’t see, and why listening without judgment allows us to better find our own relative truth. There’s 3 Steps to profound truth: 1)  Being open to what feels uncomfortable. 2)  Being receptive to the idea that we all have blind spots. 3)  Accepting that your current thinking may be missing critical pieces. The only way to tell if someone is really open is their willingness to be wrong. This simply isn’t most people. It’s the opposite – there’s a strong attachment to being right with a need to control. When you notice defensiveness, or feeling offended in anyone, including yourself, know that you are limiting yourself from experiencing higher truth. Our mind loses curiosity the more you know creating a most blinding paradox. You know that person who thinks they “know everything” while you are seeing the doors they unknowingly close. To reveal truth, staying in the student mindset when you’ve become a parent, teacher, and leader takes a practice of being mindful, in wonder, and humility. Reminding yourself that the more you discover, …

The Way We Lose Our Way & Guidance Back Home

I always wondered how people lose their way and how they could get guidance to return. I used to believe that the opposite of the truth was a lie. It was the way we lose our way. If someone having a conflict was telling the truth, the other was presumably lying. It was a trap so many of us fall into: If I am right, then you must be wrong.  Yet the idea of “what isn’t true being a lie” is not necessarily true! We tell our children from day 1 to “tell the truth”, and proceed to create an environment where they will lie to you. That is, until you discover it is how you show up that keeps them from sharing their truth. When do any of us keep secrets? When we’re afraid of how someone will react with their negativity by judging us. If you don’t want to be attacked negatively, controlled or condemned, you will be motivated to remain quiet. We don’t lie necessarily because we’ve done something wrong in our own eyes, but because of someone’s else’s version of wrong from their eyes. Who’s right is not the relevant question to get to the heart of any matter. It’s “why are you seeing it that way? Can you please share more so I can understand you?” There’s a space we slip into of “pro and anti” that’s like being in a dark room we create with very little light to see or hear the whole picture clearly. It’s a very common place we need to move away from. Get Guidance to Reach The Path  to Living True to Yourself As I dove into seeking what was true in my own life, I began to see how this erroneous mindset of “duality” where we judge keeps you in a tight box of self-deception. We get lost and confused trying to find answers to solve problems, only to find we are the ones creating them. “The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth.  ― Niels Bohr The invisible forces that cause us to lose our way? The destructive force of judgment between people that creates “us against them” and effectively blocks our ability to see that we can have our own different versions of truth that may both be correct. Truth becomes hidden in our separation, and better long term decisions for all of humanity get missed because we cannot find a unifying consciousness that is without judgment to hear one another. Instead, there are the few who dominate and control the narrative for many. Notice that this dynamic begins at home as parents with our children. It began when you were a child with your parents. What doesn’t work as a parent? Trying to control your child with your agenda instead of creating a judgment-free space to make mistakes, and give guidance so a growing child can find their own unique way in the world. We’ve Lost Our Way When It Comes to Our Health It began decades ago… There’s genetic and chemical engineering that’s been tampering with the nutrients in our soil and food supply. It’s become an accepted way our agricultural systems works.  Herbicides (toxins), and experimental workings on both plants and animals are part of the “way it is” today even though we know it’s not healthy. This video by Dr. Zach Bush provides the bigger picture, and helped me understand this pandemic and the role of this experimental vaccine – both the positive and the negative. We know there are toxins in our food after glyphosate use exploded in 1996 when Monsanto introduced “Roundup Ready” crops. These genetically modified seeds were immune to glyphosate’s toxic effects. Herbicide is sprayed on the fields, and it only kills weeds, while the crops continued to grow. It’s why you will look for “Non-GMO” (without genetic engineering) on food labels, and buy organic food when given the opportunity. There’s an inherent knowing that “nature knows best”. Perhaps like us, you’re growing some veggies and visiting local farmer’s markets more often? I’ve begun soaking my fruits with baking soda to help remove any pesticides. For years, I’ve tried to reduce the toxins in everything we consume from the laundry detergent to the shampoos, even the candles I burn. When you think about how our immune system works, and what is going into our bodies, a bigger picture emerges. Autoimmune diseases have been on a sharp incline ever since toxins and chemical farming got introduced to our lives. Our bodies don’t like foreign toxins, and must adapt somehow. Life has it’s own evolution, and we are bigger part of it than you may realize. We all know someone with rheumatoid arthritis, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, lupus, type 1 diabetes, or multiple sclerosis. The increasing prevalence of autoimmune diseases are closely associated with what we’ve allowed into our bodies over the past few decades. It takes time to see long-term damage so whatever we decide to put into our system that may appear “safe and effective for all” today in the short-term is likely going to have unknown long term effects. The question is – are these effects something you’re willing to risk creating? Does it have to be for everyone knowing there is going to be some damage given our history, knowledge, and what’s being suppressed? Statistics for the Covid Vaccine The media is filled with one dominant narrative right now that has many of us believing that the Covid vaccines is “one and only solution” to our health with this pandemic. What is the real risk for you at your age with your health history of dying from Covid? What about your children? Right now I’m facing a dilemma. Do my children take an experimental vaccine so they can attend their University classes now that it’s been mandated? Do they stay home or take covid tests to attend some classes? It …

The Power of Your Spiritual Health

The Power of Your Spiritual Health Did you know that your healthy state of mind and body is integrated into the connection you have with your Spirit and spiritual health? What do I mean by your Spirit? I don’t mean your soul. There is a part of your mind that is spiritual. A fragment of Source, Creator, Universal Father or God – whatever name works for you! It is an actual part of your mind’s consciousness that you can begin to hear as your learn to listen to your own inner guidance or intuition. Your soul is like a container or what I call your “soul trust” because it’s like an asset that is growing over time depending on how you invest in it. Nourish it with the spiritual values of truth, beauty and goodness, and it will blossom into light, and everything that brings you joy, peace, and love. It’s a high vibration you can’t really mistake. Your soul is an eternal part of you that is held in trust by your guardian angels, and will go with you into the afterlife.  It keeps growing as your mind moves from the material to the spiritual, and from imperfection to perfection – we’re all on an ascension path. Here’s a way you can picture your field of consciousness, and imagine yourself moving up towards the star in the top right corner. You are having experiences, and you live somewhere in this field of consciousness depending on the state of your mind. As you raise your vibration spiritually, and move away from fear (out of the darkness) and into your light consciousness – love is what you will experience at higher and higher spiritual levels. Disease is really dis-ease. Our soul is not at ease. It’s a disconnect from spiritual love. The Confusion of Religion Versus Spirituality Most of us understand that we are spiritual beings, but to actually put this concept into practice has been difficult because religion (set of beliefs/practices defined for you) can often get in the way of our spirituality (our personal connection and experiences with a higher Source Creator). One is static and the other dynamic. You are dynamic, and creative, which is the power of Spirit you get to exercise in your own life. There are universal spiritual principles, and it’s your willingness to find these for yourself in your own experience that becomes your personal religion. Those who want to exercise power over you will make spiritual beliefs into doctrine that is ‘unchangeable’. You can’t question anything here. It’s a red flag because of one universal principle: free will. It’s so strong that even your guides are not allowed to break it – they will NEVER tell you what to do, but they will give you guidance for what you can do IF you ask. All decisions are yours to make. You get to choose what to think, and when it aligns with light vibration, only your experience can tell you it’s truth. ” Spirit realities respond to the drawing power of the center of spiritual gravity in accordance with their qualitative value, their actual degree of spirit nature. Spirit substance (quality) is just as responsive to spirit gravity as the organized energy of physical matter (quantity) is responsive to physical gravity. Spiritual values and spirit forces are real. From the viewpoint of personality, spirit is the soul of creation; matter is the shadowy physical body.” ~Paper 7 of the Urantia Book You have a “God-given” personality that is like the potential of perfection “style” that you can grow into while you’re here. It’s your evolving energetic signature that represents your unique presence in the Universe. Who Are You? You have both an energy body and a material body. You also have a logical, material mind, and as your mind experiences spiritual values of truth, beauty and goodness, it becomes “spiritized” to help bring you back to whole health. When life hits us with the unthinkable, our mind has to deal somehow, but without a map of guidance, we get lost. The pain you feel whether mental (stress), emotional (anxiety) or physical pain is trying to tell you something. Usually it means – slow down. Pay attention. Look within. They say your body doesn’t lie, and our “mental/emotional baggage” is really unresolved energy that can affect your physical health when it remains buried in your subconscious mind. When you have experiences that are out of alignment with your soul (e.g. abandonment, shame, guilt, judgment, betrayal, abuse, unforgiveness, misalignment) – essentially anything that goes against your spiritual nature, your body and mind will react, and attempt to cope. The result is stress, and all manner of mental health problems – some are illnesses that require medical intervention. The vast majority of mental illness is not a physical problem – it’s a spiritual problem. Yes, some of our pain even the mental and emotional propensities comes from genetics, and a whole lot of it comes from toxins we unknowingly put into our bodies. There’s SO much that isn’t natural that ends up in our bodies these days, and there’s negative conditioning (brainwashing) all around us that affects the way you think that can have you disconnected from your Spirit. Are your thoughts serving you? They hold an energy vibration and this is where your own power lies. Everything in MATERIAL FORM you see today came from someone’s thought. Everything that is LIVING you see today came from Spirit. That includes you : ) What are you feeding your mind, body and soul? Your mind is looking to align with what your heart feels authentically. What are you passionate about when you get quiet? What experiences are you longing for? Your body thrives on clean nutrients & minerals from Mother Earth. It has an innate immune system that works well when you give it exercise, and healthy food. Your soul is seeking to feel alive. What do you feel called to do? What are you longing to …

The Divine Mother in You

I believe there’s a divine mother in each one of you. Let’s talk about it.. We all have a mother. Some of us become mothers. When I became a mother what struck me was “My God…we created a life”. A whole perfect human being. I would stare at my son in total awe and marvel at his existence. How could a living, breathing whole being be created and come through me, and this love with my husband? Well, yes, and the ACT. I imagine every mother has some sort of this feeling. It gently nudged me towards a spiritual path…I didn’t recognize it at the time, but now its very clear. What I Know Now that I didn’t Know then There’s a “Holy Trinity” where we all came from –  the Universal Father, the Eternal Son, and the Holy Spirit or Infinite Spirit or Mother Spirit. This Mother Spirit is the SPARK of life. She is here and pervades our Universe. Here are some of her qualities you’ll recognize: Nurturing Patient Kind Supportive Caring Passionate Protective and this one last one requires FAITH: I believe in you The Divine Mother Spirit is not the same as “Mother Earth”, which is a different spirt bound to the earth plane.  We see how nature work in an intricate balance where we are all inter-connected so often think of “Mother Earth” as “Mother Nature”, which the Mother Spirit is a part of. The divine mother spirit in you believes in all the ways your child can become whoever he or she wants to be. She nurtures, supports and provides every way for her child to feel safe, while venturing off onto their OWN adventure of life – not hers. Especially not with her fears of what could happen if her child fails. Falling down is part of the journey to joy, success, purpose. She’s there to support the ‘getting back up’ part. What I Discovered Raising 3 Children to Adulthood I learned to stop following the crowd of ‘parenting rules’ that said “do this or do that”. I learned no one knows your children like you do. But first you have to know yourself. Investing in me transformed my parenting. I learned how to LISTEN to them. It took patience and asking questions. What’s going on over there in their little minds? Do I even understand where they are coming from? I learned how to SUPPORT them. I practiced being PRESENT. I drove them, fed them, championed them.  I put their stuff ahead of my stuff. My husband chose to become the ‘breadwinner”, and I chose to become the “spiritwinner”. They needed both. He provided the means, and I provided the way. We are spiritual beings living in the material world. I learned how to TALK so they could LISTEN to what I needed to teach them by meeting them where they were with KINDNESS not judgment. I learned how not to land critically (a work in process as it’s been conditioned in me, and hard to see.) When I see WHAT’S wrong, I want to FIX, but it can land as CRITICISM. I learned how to have constructive conversations by moving away from CRITICISM because it sends the message that ‘something is wrong with you’. I learned how to PAUSE, and NOTICE so I could recognize their defensiveness was coming from my tone with my words.  We could resolve issues in that moment or later moments after we’d cooled down. I learned how to NURTURE their interests by paying ATTENTION not to what I needed, but to  what they needed at their various ages and stages. I learned that when I said “YES” and the times I had to say “NO” that I ensured a WHY went along with it. Our values are hidden here, and often get missed. I learned to APOLOGIZE for my mistakes and missteps so that one day they would come forward to take responsibility for theirs. I learned that a child needs to feel SAFE inside themselves with who they are in order to face the outer world without falling apart. I learned to BE LOVE and give them the nurturing SUPPORT they needed because they are children needing a divine mother to believe in themselves. I took this to be my RESPONSIBILITY. It does not spoil a child when you are kind and respectful. They do not feel entitled when they have a role model who they see working hard, and treats them with love, patience and understanding. Trusting themselves is their journey, but if I didn’t trust them, and truly believe in them, how could they? 3 Young Adults – Happy, Healthy, and Thriving What came back is beyond my wildest dreams. The precious moments we share every day. The laughter and learning. The good times and sad times. The conversations! All 3 feels a sense of purpose in how they feel called BE and what feels right to DO. All 3 are actively pursuing their passions – what makes them feel alive. We are very close because they want to share things with me without me asking! I learned how not to nag them – I think this is a life skill that could fill a whole book! Emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually, they are healthy. Most of all, they are kind, compassionate, and want to create something meaningful in their lives. They want a better world. They see what’s wrong out there. We all do. They are hard working, determined and self-disciplined. I get embarrassed to share the things they do and say here at home – like “I LOVE my LIFE!” and <gulp> “You’re the Best Mom!” followed by a huge hug. I feel SO blessed, and want to celebrate the qualities of what it means to BE A MOTHER – a DIVINE mother. I am thankful for my mother who instilled hard work, kindness and respect. It gave me a necessary foundation to trust myself. If you feel you were …

Are You Sitting Down to Listen?

Are You Sitting Down to Listen? In today’s world it’s really hard to stand up and speak, and can be even harder to sit down to listen. Both take courage. The level of criticism and judgment in the current media environment is fierce. It’s a sad reflection of a dominant fear that we all experience on some level within our own circles. When it comes to sharing our truth – let’s face it – who wants to be subjected to that? Blame, finding fault, and getting angry with other people’s decisions we don’t like, especially the ones that affect us personally is how most of us naturally react. We seek out those few we trust to vent our frustrations, and even then sometimes it’s best to stay quiet, and just notice. It takes a different kind of courage is to sit down and really listen to all sides. Things are Not as They Appear There is so much we cannot see in situations that are messy. You know the ones. How often I thought I knew what was going on with my child where I’d be jumping to conclusions and reacting from there with no real understanding of how their mind in that moment was working. I wasn’t sitting down to listen. I’d forgotten what it was like when I was a child. I was fortunate to have stumbled upon life coaching, and developed new listening skills. The hardest part was applying them to my own loved ones. But I eventually saw how much I couldn’t see. It wasn’t of course just with my children – it was with everyone, including myself. It was easy to point out what I was doing wrong, and what everyone else was doing wrong according to me! We believe we have the answers because deep down we do, but only for what works for us. How willing are you to SEE all the little hidden pieces of the other side for what works for them? We don’t have to agree, but understanding the other side allows you assurance that what you choose is aligned with your values. If you think there’s one right answer – some grand solution that works for everyone, think again. This is not what we’re after. There may be a better way among all the different ways, but the moment we think there is one right way for everyone, you may as well just accept being frustrated and angry all the time! Every messy, difficult situation has a myriad of influences happening. We live in a world of deception, corruption, and hidden forces that are more about power and money than anything else. We also live in a world filled with beauty, a natural order, love and compassion operating in a highly intelligent universe. But our souls are immature at this stage, and don’t have all the answers to complex problems. Only together can we wade through the mess to become a little more enlightened and discover your own best choice for what resonates for you while allowing others to do the same. When I remember that I cannot change another person – who I can change is myself and how I respond to them – I shift gears. I’m in the willingness to find unity consciousness, and it requires me to sit down and listen. Then I can act from a much higher place. The Other Side We live in a world filled with fear, a need to control, and desire for certainty. The idea of trust, faith, and letting go – surrendering to a higher universal truth can feel silly. Unproductive even. “In the pursuit of knowledge, every day something is added. In the pursuit of enlightenment, every day something is dropped. Less and less do you need to force things, until finally you arrive at non action. When nothing is done, nothing is left undone”  — Lao Tzu There is SO much we can learn, but it’s in what we can unlearn that’s the secret to life. What we cannot see is right before our eyes and yet invisible at the same time. Love, kindness, and understanding requires us to go deep when things are messy. Yet, this natural order to life exists in us all. When I watch one episode of “Our Planet” (2019), I am reminded of this FACT. How we are all connected. A Synchronicity as I was writing showed up.. Besides the incredible way biodiversity exists in nature, the other place of universe order can be seen through highly creative people who are tapped into their soul. I thought of Akiane who I consider to be one of the most spiritually evolved people on the planet. What she creates in her artwork is literally ‘out of this world’ and coming from a higher place within her. When I first discovered Akiane, now a legendary artist whose paintings sell for $millions – she was living evidence of how a creative spiritual force moves through us. Coming across her latest painting: “trapped in a mirror for a year“, I almost fell off my chair.. “Being able to accept yourself – who you are in this life is the most painful, but meaningful battle we all will experience. No matter how many masks we put on, we cannot forget who we truly are inside.” ~Akiane You see, my daughter recently created her first short film called reflections that mirrors this exact same message…WOW. We all struggle to find and accept ourself in this messy world as we try to answer who am I, and why am I here? My daughter struggles with all of her films in a very similar way that Akiane does with her artwork. I struggle when it comes to my writing. Who am I to be writing anything someone will want to read? We don’t feel good enough. We can’t see our soul, but as we dive into our own truth…we reveal ourselves. What has helped me the most in living a purposeful life where I feel a profound sense of love and peace is finding the courage to sit down and listen. It’s not just with those I don’t understand, but listening to what’s true to my own voice? Whenever I notice …

Reflective Wisdom on the Afterlife – a Tribute

Reflective Wisdom on the Afterlife – a Tribute Some of you know my dear Gran passed away on the early morning of January 6th. She just turned 101 on December 11th. It’s the first time I’ve lost someone very close to me. I feel extremely grateful to have had her presence in my life for so long. There’s also an empty space where her ‘soul signature’ used to be. For most of my life, I learned how to shove my emotions somewhere that didn’t need to be felt. Although I had a warm, happy upbringing, it was heavily focused on the practical, and results of getting things done. I learned to appreciate how my Gran’s values of hard work, independence, and ‘no-nonsense’ got passed down to me. There was no guilt, or shame being thrown around. Instead, there were simple rules of right and wrong – do your best, be nice, respectful, and do what your parents tell you! Missing Emotions What was missing in my childhood was emotion.  Anger, and deep sadness I never got close to growing up. Happy was there, but that immense feeling of joy stayed under the radar. I got so good at tucking away my emotions that when anything happened (failing an exam, not getting what I applied for, etc.), I could pretty easily “accept what is” from a sensible perspective, and simply move on. Today, I am much more tuned into my emotions because I learned to connect to my soul. Your emotions are a vibration that can be used as a guide for your soul’s truth. Unfortunately, many face trauma, stress, or drama that creates unresolved emotions that can block your soul growth. By practicing stillness every morning where I connect with my divine self (either through a song, journaling, or meditative communication), I can move away from my dominant thinking/doing side over to feeling/being. Once I consciously slow down and sink into the deeper quiet part of me, I can tap into the sadness around the loss of my Gran. Our real emotions don’t leave us – we take them along as part of our developing soul. Early Soul Stories My Grandpa was a physician – a man of science my Gran described as a “common sense kind of fellow”, and certainly not a believer of anything supernatural. One of my earliest ‘soul stories’ was the time my Grandpa awoke and saw “as clear as day” a woman with a long braid standing over his son in his crib. The servants had seen this woman in their old government-owned home in British Guyana. Up until that moment, my grandpa assumed their sightings were just an “old wives tale” – not anymore. Their local pastor was called in to bless the home, and this mysterious woman was never seen again. A mother who previously lived in the home had taken her life after her young son had died from an insect bite. For some reason, none of this story scared me. I was intrigued wanting to understand. Some people transition, and don’t know to go to the light. They are so attached to this material plane from some kind trauma that some may not realize they have died. All it usually takes is a gentle nudging to let them know not to be afraid, they won’t be judged, and to go towards the light. It’s important to know you have an entire soul ascension career ahead of you on the other side that’s part of a Great Plan.  How you travel will be determined by the experiences you create, decisions you make, and the impact you have on others. A Little Surprise My Gran’s younger brother lost his life at 22 during WW2, but it wasn’t until after she died that I needed details for her funeral. Her father’s full name? I didn’t know it was Arthur Alexander Amory. I discovered her brother’s name was Richard Gore Amory. I got a nudge to google him. I knew he was buried in Cambridge, England, but was surprised to find him online with details of his death: “Took off 23:55 20 July 1944 from Grimsby to bomb railway facilities in tactical support of the Normandy Battle Area. Homebound emerged from low cloud and crashed 03:30 21 July 1944 at Aylesby 6 miles W of Cleethorpes in Lincolnshire.” As I’m writing this, I noticed the handwriting on the photo reads “To my loving sister”. Wow. Richard joined the Royal Air Force (without telling my great-grandmother). He was stuck in the U.S. trying to get home to British Guyana. Friends from University in England had enlisted, and he wanted to help. My Gran told me how her mother had an upsetting dream of seeing her son working at a desk, and then collapsing. Later she was informed upon his death that he had become a pilot and flight navigator. He was apparently found slumped over his desk on a map after his plane was shot down. Stories like these planted seeds of me believing in “something more” early on. A Special Lady to Many Gran was our family Matriarch with 17 grandchildren, and 38 “Greats” as she called them. She was the only one in my family who believed in these unexplainable spiritual occurrences. My Gran’s generation seemed to have more faith in unknown mysteries despite the lack of knowledge. I want you to have faith in something bigger and understand your own soul path to elevate the quality of your life. Your mental and emotional health, relationships, and a sense of meaning and purpose are important for your soul! It really starts with a genuine curiosity in “who AM I”? Your Soul Versus Your Spirit Are you a “mind, body and spirit” or a “mind, body and soul”? I used to think the spirit and soul were one and the same. What’s the difference? The soul is like a container you carry collecting all the experiences of spiritual value (truth, beauty, and goodness) that will move with you into …

Do You Know What You Want in 2021?

Do You Know What You Want in 2021? The first time I heard that most people don’t know what they want sounded ridiculous..of course you know what you want! I didn’t understand that knowing what you truly want happens when you can better answer “who am I?” Turns out it takes our whole lives to figure that out! I keep being surprised to discover more aspects of who I am.. I finally watched Heal – the documentary with my family last night. I’ve been wanting my children to understand how the mind-body-soul connection works with disease. I am always more inspired about the power of who I am after watching these cases.  There is a remarkable way our body can heal itself through meditation, energy medicine, EFT, epigenetics, reiki healing, the subconscious mind with our spiritual connection driving it all. If you want to maximize your health in 2021 – it’s worth the watch – just discern for yourself what to take away. It was a good reminder of the natural intelligence we carry in our mind’s consciousness through our beliefs, emotions, and the ‘entanglement’ of energy that exists between us. Who You Are with One Thing is Who You are with Everything Over the holidays I asked my children to pull together all our photos from our last family vacation. I wanted to create one of those photo albums that can be printed. I’d done these in the past and gotten behind! They said, “but mom we already have a video!” My daughter had captured our trip to Costa Rica set to music and captions – it was awesome.  We watched it again on our family room tv chrome casting it from my son’s phone as we were finishing dinner. It was so easy to re-visit all the fun memories! I thought “maybe I don’t need a photo album -WHY do I want that?” But for me, there’s something different about having a variety of photos from our phones (everyone’s perspective) & the camera that I can sit and browse through in a physical book. I had to slow down to notice that.. I prefer reading a book in hand over a tablet although I do both now. I’ve been accumulating Xmas ornaments from far-off places we’ve visited over the past 20+ years. When this time of year rolls back around, I love to unwrap the ornaments because they spark memories. I prefer writing over creating a video. I have boxes filled with old cards and letters from people who’ve touched my life in meaningful ways. I have stacks and stacks of journals filled with writing since I was a teenager. I keep emails alphabetized by first name. I have a binder filled with lots of pieces of my soul-development journey. This is me. Until I see myself clearly, I cannot answer my own WHY for what I WANT? Who are you? What patterns do you notice about the things you like to do that others don’t necessarily do? I used to follow a lot of what was expected by those around me not knowing what I really wanted. When you set a goal for what you want, alot of getting there requires letting go of the outside noise so you can tap into your own deeper WHY bother? Going through a photo album I can relax, slow down and reflect. It’s the same way I love spending time with a friend (now over zoom) having an amazing conversation. It’s the same way I can get lost in a spiritual book seeking out my aha moments. It sparks joy and connects me to my soul. What’s Underneath Your Goals? One of my goals is to reach my ideal weight, which has been ~5 lbs away from where I am (that’s become 7 lbs over the last few days of chocolate, chips, wine, and too many yummy meals!!) It’s the weight where the majority of my clothes will feel more comfortable, and I feel more at home in my body. Another goal is to be healthier, more flexible, and stronger. It means exercising more when I’d rather be doing ANYTHING else! If I really want to achieve these health goals for life – there’s an aspect of me I have to find that connects more deeply to who I am.  Where Your Soul Personality Comes into Play There’s a part of your personality that was “God-given”. It is your POTENTIAL of who you can become to feel aligned, alive, and at peace. It’s you tapping into the dream of you.  If I don’t connect with this POTENTIAL of the higher ME, it’s going to be difficult to reach my goals and stay there. I may change, but transformation requires more than just working hard and getting a result. How I can get there also includes ME engaged with the presence of my divine fragment – the Source of all Creation. This pre-personal aspect of you wants to help you reach your highest potential.  I’ve noticed I receive a lot more divine intervention, insights, and signs & synchronicities show up like crazy whenever I’m engaged with activities that grow my soul. How can you achieve your 2021 goals, desires, and dreams to create your best year ever? By tapping daily into this ‘invisible resource’ – the divine part of you. Something more meaningful gets ignited here that allows you to not only make a change, but transforms the way you show up in life – permanently. There’s a Great Plan you are a part of that is evolving you to live a higher level of experience. It encompasses you living your version of what’s true, beautiful and good for your soul. Robin Sharma says “when you transform your fitness, you transform your business” because you are more focused, have more energy and you feel better. If I can reach more people with my soul work because I’m more focused, energized, and feel even better – that’s my deeper WHY. I feel most alive when …
