I grew up with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. We were known as \u201cthe Brady Bunch\u201d from the 70\u2019s tv sitcom. \u00a0I\u00a0was surprised to later discover this idyllic tv family was considered to be completely unrealistic.

<\/p>

They seemed so much like my family!<\/em>

<\/strong><\/p>

was given the responsibility being the eldest girl to set an example for my younger sisters. It meant following rules and meeting expectations.

<\/p>

My parents (both retired physicians) are caring, and kind. They instilled a strong work ethic. Getting things done was highly valued.

<\/p>

Our needs were met with common sense, and issues\u00a0got worked out\u00a0with little\u00a0fuss. There was a clear right and wrong with little discussion, and virtually no drama.

<\/p>

When it came to emotions, these were swept under the rug with \u201cfor goodness sake\u201d, and \u201cthat\u2019s not something to cry about!\u201d \u00a0I learned quickly not to have my opinion.

<\/p>

My mantra became \u201cjust get on with it\u201d!<\/strong>

If things went wrong, I could relatively easily pick myself up, and work harder.<\/p>

I was encouraged to pursue a profession that gave me financial independence. Although I was drawn to specializing in psychology (with a passion for understanding people), I graduated with a commerce degree.\n

\nIt was more practical.\n
\n
\nI started at Price Waterhouse where I met my wonderful husband and we both became Chartered Accountants. I learned the stress and financial deadlines of corporate life.\n
\n
\nWe got married, and our son and twin girls were born within 2 years of each other\n
\n
\nAs an exhausted stay-at-home mom handling all our finances, taking care of our home, meals and the kids while my husband worked long hours and traveled extensively, I wondered \u201cis this it\u201d? \n
\n
\nI was happy, but something felt missing.\n
\n
\nI\u2019d often hear: \u201cyou don\u2019t seem like an accountant\u201d. The idea of doing something that fulfilled me hadn\u2019t been a consideration. \n

Our son was 11 months when we celebrated his first Christmas. I received a gift \u2013 \u00a0a baby girl Xmas ornament. \u00a0It seemed like a coincidence that I had picked up the IDENTICAL girl Xmas ornament along with the baby boy.

<\/p>

I thought of gifting what felt like an \u201cextra\u201d Xmas ornament.

<\/p>

The following year, our identical twin girls were 2 months old celebrating their first Xmas.<\/p>


I\u2019d forgotten about the Xmas ornaments.<\/p>

I thought \u201chow funny \u2013 these ornaments exactly represent our family \u2013 a baby boy and identical twin girls!\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I still didn\u2019t recognize this as any kind of \u201cdivine sign\u201d.

It wasn\u2019t until\u00a0 I began doing my inner work through life coaching that I could see ways I had been \u201cco-creating\u201d my life with Spirit all along.

As a teenager, I\u2019d saved a clipping from Ann Lander\u2019s advice column where she gave a mother of twin girls advice because she had a twin sister \u201cDear Abby\u201d.<\/p>

You see, I\u2019d always wanted twin girls, and thought \u201cmaybe one day I\u2019ll need this advice for my twin girls\u201d!

<\/p>

I was very close to cousins who are twin girls, and thought how special it would be to raise twin girls of my own.

<\/p>

I discovered how the law of attraction works at the soul level. Quantum physics has an underlying spiritual reality.

<\/p>

It begins with getting to \u201cknow thyself\u201d at the level of your soul, and following your inner voice.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Intention turns out to be powerful. Ask and you shall receive. I didn\u2019t know it at the time, but there\u2019s a mysterious way we are co-creating our reality with our thoughts.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

When my children were pre-schoolers, I join a small group of women to work with a life coach. We would get coaching on the \u201cstuff that matters\u201d .. our secret desires, dreams, challenges, fears, and what wasn\u2019t working in our lives.<\/p>

All of it had a safe place to land in a judgment-free space.

<\/p>

I could be true to myself because there was no right or wrong \u2013 the more important question was \u201cdid THIS work for me?\u201d<\/p>


It was eye-opening, and the beginning of finding my way back to my soul<\/p>


Life coaching opened new perspectives and brought me back to my interest in understanding people. Suddenly signs began appearing everywhere like seeing 11:11 that had initially shown up after a childhood accident where I fell unconscious.<\/p>


11\u2019s seemed to be everywhere\u2026as a sign.<\/p>


I fell in love with musical theatre after seeing my cousins perform their school production of \u2018Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat\u2019 \u00a0\u2013 it was the year I turned 11.<\/p>


Their elementary school happened to put on a musical every year, and my girls participated with one of them playing Glinda in their final Wizard of Oz production.<\/p>


They both ended up applying to musical theatre in a highly competitive program at the oldest arts high school in Canada, and to all our surprise got accepted!<\/p>

The Missing Link: Spirituality<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I\u2019d been longing for\u00a0a deeper sense of aliveness, and connection with people. Our spiritual nature of meaning and purpose experienced with emotions was a void in my life.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

It was the \u2018missing piece\u2019 I couldn\u2019t put my finger on. I didn\u2019t realize every person is a spiritual being having a human experience.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

I now believe some of us get a \u201cspiritual jumpstart\u201d. It can take the form of losing people in your life, an accident, an illness, a wrong turn or crisis we experience. Some monumental life experience that propels you onto what many refer to as \u201cthe other side of the veil\u201d.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

At 6 years old, I rode over a cliff on a bicycle that was too big for me. A tree apparently saved my life. I lay unconscious at its base where it stopped me from a further fall to a rocky ground below. I was in the hospital\u00a0for a few days with a broken jaw, but otherwise I was fine.<\/p>

Ever since that fall, I had an interest in angels, the afterlife, and began seeing 11:11 on my clock radio.<\/p>

Around 2009 after alot of inner personal development work, I started seeing 11:11 everywhere.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

I finally googled it.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

I had already dived into reading spiritual books like The Road Less Travelled, The Four Agreements, and The Alchemist.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

But it was seeing 11:11 that led me to what I consider to be the highest source of spiritual revelation: The\u00a0Urantia Book.<\/a><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

It\u2019s given me a true understanding of spirituality.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

There are 196 papers that came through an unnamed \u2018sleeping prophet\u2019 and authored by different spiritual personalities. Its transmission was completed in 1934, and finally published by a group in 1955 led by 2 physicians (husband and wife).<\/p>

My parents are both MDs.<\/p>

It describes the cosmic structure of the Universe, our planet\u2019s history, philosophy, and the spiritual teachings and life of Jesus that cleared up alot of what was confusing among the various Christian religions.<\/p>

When I turned 11, we moved to a street called Cosmic Drive.<\/p>

I\u2019ve always believed humanity must have one story that connects us all \u2013 this for me is it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

I believe all true religions, and faiths lead to One God, Source or Creator with the same universal message: be kind, compassionate, and learn to love one another. \u00a0Forgiveness and mercy are the cornerstones for humanity to find unity among our differences.<\/p>

We each carry a divine fragment (of God) within us that\u2019s non-judgmental, and it\u2019s the most important relationship we have.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Our soul is on an ascension path that has plenty to learn, and whatever level our soul reaches gets carried to the other side where we continue to grow.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

One of our greatest obstacles is how we judge ourselves, and one another.<\/p>
